Abstract

We, the editors of Methodist Review, offer this tribute, written by William B. Lawrence, for our colleague and friend, Russell E. Richey. With it we extend our profound gratitude for his life, work, and leadership. Russell Richey was also a driving force behind the creation of Methodist Review, and from its inception, Methodist Review has been guided by his vision for the publication of scholarly articles in all areas and eras of Wesleyan and Methodist studies that are specifically intended for and primarily focused on a global academic audience. With more than 4,450 subscribers, we are proud to be a part of his continuing legacy.
